Could you please tell me the number of Indian nationals living in the UK currently?

In 2014, the latest year for which data are available, the estimated number of Indian nationals living in the UK in 2014 was 365,000.

Data on the population by nationality and country of birth can be found in the latest “Population by Country of Birth and Nationality underlying datasheets” available at:

Tabs “Table A” to “Table D” provide estimates by country of birth, while Tabs “Table E” to “Table H” provides nationality.

These population estimates are based on the Annual Population Survey (APS). APS data are collected throughout each year and therefore the estimates for any given year will not be available until the following year. Population estimates by country of birth and nationality for 2015 will be released in August 2016.
