Further to your enquiry.

Please find attached copies of internal documentation produced since 1 January 2015 relating to possible dates for when the Office for National Statistics (ONS) Beta website will become the live ONS website.

The search has been limited to high level meetings as a search of all ONS systems, such as emails and databases, would exceed the appropriate cost limit of complying with a request as set out in s.12 of the Freedom of Information Act.

The total spent on developing the new website is £1.912m.

The website was approved for release and went 'live' on the evening of 25 February 2016.

We trust this is satisfactory.
