New data sets on data.gov

According to data.gov.uk, there are 1170 ONS data sets on the site. Can you please say how many are "new" data and how many are republished from www.ons.gov.uk. Please list the new datasets that are uniquely published on data.gov.uk.

  1. There are no 'new' datasets that are uniquely published on data.gov.uk

  2. All ONS datasets listed on data.gov.uk are held elsewhere, the data.gov.uk website just holds a URL to the location of the data. Most of the data that is listed under ONS on data.gov.uk is actually held on www.ons.gov.uk but some is held in other locations, such as the Eurostat website or The National Archives website

  3. Further analysis of the content of the data.gov.uk website can be done by running the various reports made available in the 'Reports' section under 'Data'
