We would like to know the following information.

  1. The number of multiple birth (i.e. twin, triplet and higher multiples) stillbirths by hospital trust year on year between 2008 and 2014 in England

  2. The number of multiple birth stillbirths by region year on year between 20018 and 2014 in England and Wales

  3. The number of multiple birth neonatal deaths by hospital trust year on year between 2008 and 2014 in England

  4. The number of multiple birth neonatal deaths by region year on year between 20018 and 2014 in England and Wales

We would also like to know the total number of neonatal deaths in England and Wales.

The number of neonatal deaths registered in England and Wales in 2014 was 1,870 which can be found within Table 4 of our publication 'Death Summary Tables, England and Wales, 2014' http://www.ons.gov.uk/ons/rel/vsob1/death-reg-sum-tables/2014/index.html

Information on births can be obtained from the customer services team of the Vital Statistics Outputs Branch. Special extracts and tabulations of birth data for England and Wales are available to order (subject to legal frameworks, disclosure control, resources and agreements of costs, where appropriate).
