The Index of Private Housing Rental Prices is created using data from multiple sources; Valuation Office Agency (VOA), Scottish government (SG) and Welsh government (WG).

Valuation Office Agency (VOA) publishes private rental market statistics. These cover the average prices paid for renting private housing in England to the level of region and local authority.

Private Sector Rent Statistics are also published annually by the Scottish Government which cover the average price paid for renting private housing in Scotland.

Similarly, Private Sector Rents are published on an annual basis by the Welsh Government, which cover the average price paid for renting private housing in Wales.
