Information on people leaving the civil service and reasons for leaving is collected on the Annual Civil Service Employment Survey, however it is not readily available. Although we do not produce regular analysis on this basis, you can request an ad-hoc analysis be produced to give this detailed information through the Civil Service Statistics Team (cssurveys@ons.gov.uk), such ad-hoc analysis requests may incur a charge.
As this information is already available to you via this route we consider that s.21(1) applies to this request and the information does not have to be supplied under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act. s.21(1) is an absolute exemption and no consideration of the public interest test needs to be applied.
We do not hold information on tele-working civil servants, overtime, annual hour contracts, job sharing or outsourcing.
