Since the appointment of Sir Andrew Dilnot as chair of the UK Statistics Authority Board, he has not met with Scottish Ministers or the SNP.

Sir Andrew Dilnot has visited Scotland on three occasions during his term as Chair of the UK Statistics Authority.

25 June 2012 - Scottish Government Statistician's Conference.

3 October 2013 - UK Statistics Authority Board Meeting in Edinburgh.

17 June 2014 - Health Statistics User Event.

Sir Andrew met with the Scottish Chief Statistician's office and colleagues during these visits.

The UK Statistics Authority has an Edinburgh office located at 45 Melville Street, Edinburgh, EH3 7HL and regularly produces monitoring and assessment reports on statistics produced by Scottish producers.

In 2013 the UK Statistics Authority published a Monitoring Review ahead of the 2014 Scottish Referendum entitled Official Statistics in the Context of the Referendum on Scottish Independence. This report did not seek to present all the relevant figures to the referendum question but offered a wide range of advice for reference on sources and comparability.
