- Amount of China’s investment in the UK from 2001 to 2015 (annual data)
- Number of inbound Chinese tourists to the UK from 2001 to 2015 (annual data)

Thank you for your request. Please note, although we received two FoI requests, we have provided one response containing all of the data.
The first spreadsheet shows Foreign Direct Investment data for China and Hong Kong. The data is available for both China and Hong Kong between 2002 and 2014. Chinese data for 2001 is unavailable as the series only began being published in 2002. The 2015 data will not be published until December 2016.
The second spreadsheet shows tourism data for Chinese residents visiting the UK between 2001 and 2015.
