I would like to request information on Instant Access Savings Account (not ISA). This can be broken down into the following headlines:

1) Amount saved in Instant Access Accounts

2) Amount saved by the following demographics:

  • Age
  • Income (i.e. intervals such as £10,000-£20,000, £20,001-£30,000)

Unfortunately we do not hold the requested information at the level of detail you require. We hold total household deposits, but this is not broken down into savings accounts. Your request may be better placed with the Bank of England.
