You asked

I have searched your website and have been unable to identify certain information which I hope the ONS can provide if possible. As follows:

  1. How many people in the UK are currently subject to some form of Insolvency solution (such as an IVA or Bankruptcy);
  2. How many people in Scotland are currently subject to some form of Insolvency solution (such as a Debt Arrangement Scheme, a Trust Deed or a Sequestration);
  3. What %/number are currently: a. In a Debt Arrangement Scheme; b. In a Trust Deed; c. Subject to Sequestration.

Your assistance with this request would be appreciated.

The Office for National Statistics does not hold the information requested.

I am unaware if this information is held in full by any other government department. However, the Insolvency Service does publish official statistics which may address your request at least in part. These statistics are available here: https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/insolvency-service-official-statistics
