Following a search of our records, we can confirm that we do not currently hold the information you have requested. However, we may be able to create some of what you have asked for as a bespoke analysis. Any such analysis would be outside of the Freedom of Information regime and would be subject to legal frameworks, disclosure control, resources and agreement of costs where appropriate. We do not hold data on the total number of mosques and places of worship in the Great Britain. The Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government may be better placed to provide this information.
We also do not hold information on the total number of Muslim retail business in Great Britain. Our business data doesn't hold race, religion, ethnicity or any other information/data on owners or directors of businesses.
