Could you please provide me with comparable item indices and price quotes for the period from 1988 to 2009?
The item indices should include the following information, as defined in the pre-2025 glossary: "index_date," "item_id," "index_algorithm," "item_index," "all_gm_index," "item_weight," and "coicop_weight."
The price quotes should include the following information, as defined in the pre-2025 glossary: "quote_date," "item_id," "validity," "shop_code," "price," "price_relative," "log_price_relative," "stratum_weight," "stratum_type," "start_date," "end_date," "region," "shop_type," "shop_weight," "base_price," "base_validity," and "stratum_cell."

This should provide you with access to the data you have requested. However, please note we are unable to update these files to include any additional variables if they are not available.
We only hold these data from January 1996.
