​I'm looking for the latest available statistics of incidences and deaths of these cancers (IOC codes below), broken down by race.

The IOC codes are: C00, C01, C02, C03, C04, C05, C06, C09, C10, C12, C13 and C14.

Ideally, I would like UK wide statistics however if you're not available to provide those then just the statistics for England will do.

Also, please could you provide me with the latest data of the UK population broken down by race.

Cancer cases

Unfortunately, we do not hold data relating to cancer cases. This falls under the remit of Public Health England (PHE). They would therefore be better placed to answer this part of your query and can be contacted via the following email address: wn_coronavirus@phe.gov.uk

Deaths from cancer by ethnicity

Our mortality data is derived from the information provide on the death certificate. Ethnicity is not recorded as part of the death registration process and is therefore not available to us.

Our recent publications regarding mortality analysis and ethnicity have been produced with data linkage to 2011 Census. Therefore, in order to provide deaths by the requested ICD code and ethnicity, we would need use a high level of statistical skill and judgement in order to create bespoke analysis. Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Public Authorities are not obligated to create information in order to respond to requests. We therefore consider this to be information not held.

Population data by ethnicity

The most up-to-date, official estimates of the population by ethnic group are those estimates from the 2011 Census. Data from the 2011 Census are freely available on our Nomis website.

Our most recent official estimates of the population of the UK by ethnic group are available at national and subnational level here. The most recent official estimates of the population of England and Wales by ethnic group, sex and age are available at national and subnational level here.
