Thank you for your request.

Unfortunately, we only hold some of the information you have requested. The ONS Centre for Crime and Justice produce figures on the levels and trends of crime in England and Wales primarily based on two sets of crime statistics: the Crime Survey for England and Wales (CSEW) and police recorded crime (PRC) data provided by the Home Office. We hold limited information on modern slavery offences.

In our quarterly appendix table A5a (row 58) we publish the number of modern slavery offences in England and Wales recorded by the police. These data are supplied to us by the Home Office.

The latest detailed data we have published on victims of modern slavery are available in our Modern slavery in the UK: March 2020 release and accompanying appendix tables (up to the year ending March 2019), and our Child victims of modern slavery in the UK: March 2022 and accompanying appendix tables (up to the year ending March 2021).

These articles compile data from various available sources. Several of the tables include breakdowns by age and sex of both victims and offenders. Some tables provide information on the victim's nationality but only distinguish between UK and non-UK nationals.

The Home Office publish more detailed information in their Modern Slavery: National Referral Mechanism and Duty to Notify statistics UK, end of year summary 2022 release.

You may be able to obtain further information by contacting the data providers directly.
