2021 data

Deaths registered in England and Wales for 2021 will be published in July 2022, this is to allow the inclusion of late registrations, which are deaths that have been referred for Coroner investigation.

We can produce this as a bespoke request using provisional data, however we must caution this will be subject to change and may not match the published data in July 2022 due to the inclusion of late registrations. Special extracts and tabulations of mortality data for England and Wales are available to order (subject to legal frameworks, disclosure control, resources and agreements of costs, where appropriate).
