You asked
With regards to the following data set https://www.ons.gov.uk/economy/grossvalueaddedgva/datasets/nominalandrealregionalgrossvalueaddedbalancedbyindustry, I would like to know:
The Gross Value Added (GVA) per head of resident population for computer programming and consultancy and related activities (SIC2007 Section J Division 62) presented in pounds sterling broken down by one of the following geographical areas:
NUTS3
Local authority
Parliamentary constituency
Postcode areas
I would like this data broken down by year, for each of the last five years, with a year-end date of June 30. If this is not possible then please use the year-end that is most convenient.

Thank you for your request.
Unfortunately we do not hold the information requested. We hold the the raw data, but we would need to conduct a bespoke analysis to create the figures to fulfil your request and this falls outside of the Freedom of Information regime. In any event, even if we were to create these figures, they would be considered personal information. Under s.39 of the Statistics and Registration Service Act (SRSA) 2007, disclosure of information that would identify an individual or body corporate is prohibited.
Because we need protect against the disclosure of personal information, we have had to aggregate certain industries together in our published tables. Unfortunately in your case, this includes SIC division 62, which is only published separately down to the NUTS2 level. At NUTS3 we publish figures for divs. 61-63 combined, and for local authorities we only provide figures for Section J as a whole (divs. 58-63).
You can find these figures in our published datasets, in the tables containing current price data by industry.
The link here is to the local authority datasets:
and you can find the NUTS3 data tables in here (Table 3c is the one you want):
Please also bear in mind that GVA per head of resident population for specific industries is a questionable statistic at best, as the resident population has little or no relevance to those employed in that industry in any given region.
