Thank you for your request. Since 2006 the Office for National Statistics (ONS) has prosecuted 3 companies for non-compliance of the Annual Business Survey. Each company was fined by the courts an average of £1,250: in 2006, 2008 and 2012.

Since 2006 ONS have not prosecuted any company for providing incorrect or inaccurate data.
