Please can you provide the following information in relation to the Family Resources Survey in each year since 2013/14 (or in each available year):

  1. The total population number split by age group
  2. The total number of disabled people in the population split by age group,

    a. Within each disabled "age group" please display data by main type of impairment

    1. Where "other" is mentioned as a type of impairment, please provide a summary of what is included in this definition.

Family Resource Survey (FRS) results are published by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). FRS results from 2010/11 onwards can be found via the following link: https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/family-resources-survey--2

For the year 2018-19, which is the latest published, published data can be accessed via the following link: https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/family-resources-survey-financial-year-201819. The published data include a series of breakdowns by some of the characteristics you are interested in, for example a breakdown of disability by age, can be found in the accompanying Excel download named 'frs-disability-data-tables-2018-19'.

Any request for additional data needs to be addressed to Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) as they are responsible for the FRS survey. Contact details at DWP are included in the above links. ONS, alongside other agencies, is contracted by DWP to collect data on their behalf.
