I would like to request information in relation to domestic violence cases during the year 2019-2020, that involved Eastern European citizens living within England and Wales. I request statistics about victims that are Romanian nationals living in London Boroughs.

The latest detailed data we have published on victims of domestic violence and abuse in England and Wales are available in our Domestic abuse in England and Wales overview: November 2020 release.
We publish data on domestic violence and abuse from two main sources: police recorded crime and the Crime Survey for England and Wales (CSEW).
Within the police recorded crime data on domestic abuse-related violence against the person offences that we hold, unfortunately, we are not able to separately identify the nationality of the victim or the location the offence was recorded, below police force area level.
However, police recorded crime data on domestic abuse-related violence are collected and owned by the Home Office. You may wish to contact them (via: crimeandpolicestats@homeoffice.gov.uk) about your request, as they may be better placed to assist.
Unfortunately, we do not hold analysis with the requested data collected from the CSEW and therefore this would need to be created as bespoke analysis. Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, public authorities are not obligated to create information in order to respond to requests. However, we may be able to create this, or something similar, for you as an ad hoc output, subject to legal frameworks, disclosure controls, resources, and an agreement of costs, where appropriate. If you would like to request this bespoke analysis, please contact crimestatistics@ons.gov.uk to discuss your enquiry further.
Please note that it would likely only be possible that the year ending March 2020 CSEW could provide data for domestic violence or abuse victims of all Eastern European nationalities residing in London. The CSEW would not be able to provide data at a London borough level (only the whole of London) and owing to small sample sizes, it may not be possible to provide data for Romanian nationals on their own.
