Reference the ONS Deaths registered weekly in England and Wales.
I request daily / weekly totals of registered deaths involving the coronavirus (COVID-19) which also involved respiratory diseases (ICD-10 J00-J99).

Thank you for your enquiry.
We publish COVID-19 deaths on a weekly basis and this can be found in our Weekly deaths publication. This provides provisional counts of the number of deaths registered in England and Wales, by age, sex and region, in the latest weeks for which data are available. This includes the most up-to-date figures available for deaths involving the coronavirus (COVID-19).
You will find this information on worksheet 1 of this publication each week.
There is detailed analysis available for March as part of the Deaths Involving Covid19 England and Wales publication. Tables 5a, 5b and 5c give details of COVID19 deaths with preexisting conditions by sex and age band.
Further data will be available after the 2020 death registrations are finalised in Summer 2021.
The information requested would be available to commission as a bespoke analysis. Such services would fall outside of the Freedom of Information regime and would be subject to legal frameworks, disclosure control, resources and agreement of costs, where appropriate.
