The Nature of crime tables, based on data from the Crime Survey for England and Wales, could be of interest to you.
Tables 4 and 5 present the number of crimes broken down by the type of weapon. The weapons are categorised as following:
Knife/stabbing implement
Hitting implement (including sticks, clubs and other implements)
Glass/bottle
Stones
Firearms (including pistol, rifle, shotgun, airgun, air rifle, and unidentified guns)
Syringe
Other weapons (including axe, sword, cleaver, dogs and other weapons)
Additionally, Table F2 of Crime in England and Wales: Other related tables, provides information on the number of offences recorded by the police, broken down type of firearms (shotguns, handguns, rifles, imitation firearms, unidentified firearms and other firearms).
