Thank you for your freedom of information request.

Our 'Health, disability, and unpaid care: Census 2021 in England and Wales' topic summary was released on 19 January and can be found via the following link: https://www.ons.gov.uk/releases/healthdisabilityandunpaidcarecensus2021inenglandandwales

The first dataset, General Health, provides Census 2021 estimates that classify usual residents in England and Wales by the state of their general health (very good health, good health, fair health, bad health, or very bad health). This dataset is available for Output Areas (OAs).

2011 Census data for General Health at OA level is available from NOMIS - a service run on behalf of the ONS by the University of Durham.

Instructions for how to use NOMIS in your research are available in the associated download "Nomis Navigation Instructions 2021".
