The latest quarterly estimates of business investment, levels and as a percentage of gross domestic product (GDP) in both current price (CP) and chained volume measure (CVM) terms are presented in table 1 and table 2, chained volume measures remove the effect of price changes. These figures are seasonally adjusted (SA) to remove the effect of seasonality.
Both the business investment and GDP figures quoted are consistent with figures published on 29 September 2017.
A longer run time series, along with annual estimates, can be found in the sources listed below each table. We do not produce forecast data, forecasts are produced and published by the Office for Budget Responsibility.
