Thank you for your Freedom of Information request regarding the number and characteristics of Black and Ethnic Minority (BME) individuals resident in Buckinghamshire.

The latest National Statistics by ethnic group may be found in the 2011 Census, which may be accessed via the NOMIS website. This allows users to create their own data tables using different variables. However these are not the latest data available, as we have produced ad hoc population denominators for later years.

With regard to your specific criteria please see below:-

2. estimated annual population growth - we are unable to provide this data
3. healthcare access information – please try NHS Digital for data regarding healthcare
4. housing status – we are unable to provide these data
5. employment rate - we are unable to provide these data
6. access to education - we are unable to provide these data
7. socioeconomic status – please see the attached spreadsheet created from the NOMIS website for information on socioeconomic status (the National Statistics Socio-economic Classification known as ‘NS-SeC’,) in Buckinghamshire
8. any other relevant demographic information – there is a wealth of demographic information on Buckinghamshire in general here on the NOMIS website, if looking at the whole population rather than specific ethnic groups. However if only focusing on specified ethnic groups, then you can use the variables available when you create your own data download.
