Thank you for your Freedom of Information request regarding gross weekly pay for males aged 24 in 1995 up to age 38 in 2009.
Information on employees by single age has been produced for the years 1997 to 2005 using the Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings (ASHE), however this data table has since been discontinued. Table 1 shows the mean and median gross weekly earnings for male employees aged from 26 to 34 from 1997 to 2005.
ASHE data is not available prior to 1997. Data for the years 2006 to 2009 is not held by ONS, but can be created on request from the ASHE ad-hoc data request service, which is chargeable. If you have any questions about making a request, please do not hesitate to contact us at earnings@ons.gov.uk.
