You asked

I would like to know in the past 3 years, for the entire 2023, 2024, and thus far for 2025, how many crimes asylum seekers have been accused of. So for clarity:

1. How many have been accused of crimes

2. How many since being accused have been found guilty

3. A breakdown of the types of crimes for 1 and 2 points above.

4. Where these people now reside. (Prison, communities etc).

5. How many of those convicted were deported.

6. How many of the accused included those found guilty are men and how many are woman.

7. Which religious beliefs do the accused and those found guilty identify with.

8. Finally, which countries do they come from.

Included are in the category of 'asylum seekers' above I mean those people who arrive both by legal and illegal means (small boats), and further more needs to include those who arrive here illegally and do not formally claim asylum.

Thank you for your request.

Our publications and data concern crime as it is experienced by victims, or as it is recorded by the police. We therefore have limited information available on offender demographics, determined from the victim's perspective, and none by asylum seeker or migrant status. We are therefore unable to provide breakdowns of crime by these categories.

The Ministry of Justice or Home Office may be able to help you further.
