Please supply the monthly all cause death totals for England and Wales from January of the year 2000 to June 2021.
We said
Thank you for your enquiry requesting all cause deaths in England and Wales for 2000 to 2021.
Unfortunately, we would be unable to provide you with monthly all cause deaths in England and Wales from 2000 to June 2021. In order to fulfil this request, we would need use a high level of statistical skill and judgement in order to create a bespoke analysis or table. Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Public Authorities are not obligated to create information in order to respond to requests. We therefore consider this to be information not held.
We hold the following analysis Deaths registered monthly publication which will provide deaths registered in England and Wales on a monthly basis from 2006 to 2021 based on provisional data.
We also have the following ad-hoc user-requested data sets available:
Monthly deaths, England and Wales, deaths that occurred between 2001 and 2018. This provides monthly deaths by sex and single year of age.
Deaths registered by month, age and sex, 2002 to 2012. This provides monthly deaths by age and sex.
Monthly death registrations by age group and local authority, England and Wales: 1988 to 2019

Information on monthly deaths in England and Wales along with other special extracts and tabulations of mortality data for England and Wales are available to order (subject to legal frameworks, disclosure control, resources and agreements of costs, where appropriate).
