Dataset Single year life tables, UK and constituent countries

Correction

05 February 2024

Due to a processing error, the single year life tables (England edition) for 2002 for males and females were incorrect. They were the same as the single year life tables for 2003. The life tables for 2002 have been replaced with the correct versions. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

About this Dataset

Period life expectancy by age and sex for 1980 to 2022 for England, Wales (and combined), Scotland, Northern Ireland, Great Britain and the UK. Each life table is based on population estimates, births and deaths for a single year.
