How many 5yo children live in two bedroom flats in Cardiff, or how many 15yo children live in 3 bedroom houses etc. We classify housing in terms of houses and flats/apartments, further differentiated by the number of bedrooms (e.g. 1,2,3,4,>4).

The 2011 Census dataset 'LC4102EW - Number of bedrooms by accommodation type by age of dependent children' details number of bedrooms by accommodation type by age of dependent children for Cardiff. Please see the associated download. This has been downloaded from Nomis. Nomis is a service run on behalf of ONS by the university of Durham.
The most up-to-date data is from the 2021 Census. An equivalent Census 2021 dataset has been created using the Create a custom dataset tool. This tool enables users to make their own datasets combining variables from the census. Please see the other associated download named '2021 dependent children by bedrooms'.
