Why you were selected
Your trust has been selected from a list of UK investment trusts recognised as such by HM Revenue and Customs for tax purposes. Once selected, your trust is legally obliged to comply. You cannot appeal your selection.
Why you have received this survey
We survey trusts of all sizes to ensure our statistics are representative of the UK economy. We select large investment trusts (with fund values above £500 million) for the Investment Trust Survey because their information is so significant.
We select some small and medium trusts, usually for a set period of time then replace them with other trusts from their industry.
