Examines how taxes and benefits redistribute income between various groups of households in the UK. The study shows where different types of households and individuals are in the income distribution and looks at the changing levels of income inequality over time.

Quality Adjusted Labour Input (experimental) - Estimates to 2011 and First Estimates for 2012 Not yet released - provisional date
Quality-adjusted labour input (QALI) is a measure of labour input to economic production which takes account of the composition of the workforce as well as the volume of hours worked. It provides a broader perspective in assessing productivity performance than other labour measures, which focus only on the quantity of labour input. The results are used in multi-factor productivity analysis.

Parliamentary Constituency Population Estimates (experimental) - Mid-2011 (Census Based) Not yet released
This product is part of the set of Small Area Population Estimates (SAPE). It includes estimates of the usually resident population as at 30 June of the reference year for Westminster parliamentary constituencies in England and Wales by age and sex. These estimates are consistent with the Census Based Super Output Area (SOA), local authority, regional and national population estimates. Estimates reflect the administrative boundaries in place on 30 June 2011.

This product is part of the set of Small Area Population Estimates (SAPE). It includes estimates of the usually resident population as at 30 June of the reference year for 2011 electoral wards in England and Wales by age and sex. These estimates are consistent with the Census based Super Output Area (SOA), local authority, regional and national population estimates. Estimates are also available for 2012 electoral wards.

This article presents the findings from regression analysis undertaken by ONS looking at which factors matter most important to our personal well-being. The analysis uses data from the Annual Population Survey and explores the importance of a range of factors which may affect personal well-being while holding other factors constant.

Services Producer Price Indices - The Development Of Price Indices for Professional Business Services, Cargo Handling and Storage and Warehousing, Quarter 1 2013 Not yet released
The Services Producer Price Index (SPPI) are primarily a suite of individual price indices that provide information on price change for a limited range of service industries. Each SPPI captures quarterly changes in the price received for services provided by UK businesses to other UK businesses and Government. These individual price indices are also aggregated together to create a 'service industry' SPPI with limited coverage.

Health Inequalities - Trends in all-cause mortality by NS-SEC for English regions and Wales, 2001-03 to 2008-10 Not yet released
This release presents trends in estimates of mortality rates for males and females of working age in English regions and Wales, from 2001-03 to 2008-10, calculated using population denominators derived from the Labour Force Survey (LFS). The analysis is based on the seven class reduced National Statistics Socio-economic Classification (NS-SEC).

Short Term Migration Estimates for England and Wales - Mid-2011 Estimates

Estimates of short-term migration, based on information gathered by the International Passenger Survey (IPS) when migrants return home. Estimates refer to flows to and from England & Wales as well as the average stock of short-term migrants present in or absent from England & Wales. Statistics are provided for migration of periods between 3 and 12 months and 1 and 12 months.
