Correction
Processing errors have been found in the construction of the internal purchasing power of the pound calculations. Only the data for 2010 are affected where the December 2010 RPI index (rather than the average RPI index for 2010) was used in the data calculations.
The data affected are in table 3.7 of the time series datasets and in table 33 of the Detailed CPI and RPI Reference Tables; details of the previously published data and the size of the revisions (which are small, between 1 pence and 10 pence) are provided within table 33 of the Detailed CPI and RPI Reference Tables.
