About this programme 

The Ambitious, Radical, Inclusive Economic Statistics (ARIES) programme aims to provide clear and insightful economic, social and environmental statistics and analysis to inform decision-making across the UK in an inclusive, timely and sustainable way. 

Objectives 

The ARIES programme has three main objectives: 

  • improve our core statistical offering and maintain international standards and comparability, in line with user needs 

  • exploit new data sources and innovative methods to inform better quality, more timely and relevant statistics  

  • manage the risk to existing Economic, Social and Environment Group (ESEG) outputs
