1. The Health Index is currently in beta and results are provisional.
2. A score of 100 on the Index or any indicator means health is at the same level as England in 2015. A higher score in any year means health is better than England in 2015.
3. For some indicators, data for Cornwall include the Isles of Scilly, and data for Hackney include the City of London, because they are provided in this form in the source data. See the accompanying data table for the specific indicators this applies to. For all other indicators, data are not provided for the Isles of Scilly or City of London due to small numbers.
4. Some indicators have the same value in all years presented as the source data is only available for one year, but is not expected to change significantly between years. More information can be found in our methodology report.
