This tool only uses data for urban areas

£

The estimated value added to your property by green space is

10000

Your nearest public green space is a [I haven't fixed this yet], metres from your home.

Move the slider to see what difference being nearer or further away from public green space would make to the value.

This value is an estimate based on analysis for the whole of England and Wales and there may be some anomalies when looking at local results. For instance, since the tool is using averages, if you live near a particularly nice park our tool may significantly undervalue it. Distances are shown from the centre of the postcode to the nearest defined access point. Green spaces without defined access points may not be included. This tool should not be used to help value your home.

Public green space data comes from Ordnance Survey, who define publicly accessible green space as public parks or gardens, play spaces, playing fields, sports facilities, golf courses, allotments or community growing spaces, and religious grounds and cemeteries. These spaces may contain natural land cover and can also include some "blue space" like canals, rivers and lakes.
