Notes:

1. The total fertility rate is the average number of live children that a group of women would bear if they experienced the age-specific fertility rates of the calendar year throughout their childbearing lifespan.
2. The Isles of Scilly has been combined with Cornwall for all years because of the very small number of births in this area.
3. Population estimates for 2012 to 2016 were revised in 2018, therefore TFRs may differ very slightly to those previously published.
4. Figures are based on boundaries as of February 2018.
