You asked

I have collected UK trade data from 2013 to 2019 from the UN’s COMTRADE database disaggregated at the 6-digit HS product classification for purposes of approximating industry dynamics. I am writing to request for a concordance or correspondence table for 6-digit HS (2012) product classification codes to 4-digit UK SIC (07) and 6-digit HS (2017) product classification codes to 4-digit UK SIC (07).

Thank you for your request.

The UK Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) 2007 is the national version of "The Statistical Classification of Economic Activities in the European Community (NACE) Rev. 2" and as such must be identical to NACE Rev 2, down to and including the fourth digit of the system. Correlations between NACE Rev 2 and other International classifications are produced and held by Eurostat1. Due to fundamental differences between the two systems, Eurostat advise that it is not possible to correlate HS comprehensively with NACE Rev 2.

A list of available NACE Rev 2 correlations can be found:

https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/ramon/relations/index.cfm?TargetUrl=LST_REL&StrLanguageCode=EN&IntCurrentPage=1

The HS falls within the remit of the World Customs Organisation (WCO) however correlations to this system are primarily held by the United Nations Statistical Department (UNSD). Available correlations can be found at: https://unstats.un.org/unsd/trade/classifications/correspondence-tables.asp. Further information on the HS can be accessed at:
