The latest data available for alcohol-specific deaths can be found in the following publication: Alcohol-specific deaths in the UK: registered in 2018
There is an ICD code "T65.2 Toxic effects of Tobacco and nicotine". Figures for T codes are in Table 8 of the Deaths Registered Series but there are no deaths recorded in 2019.
However, a "T" ICD10 code are not recorded as the underlying cause, they are a contributory cause code only.
