Numbers of death registrations (all causes overall and specific causes as specified) and population figures for 2001 to 2016 and the number of newly registered cases of cancer for 2001 to 2015 (the latest year available).
Data are for England, broken down by age group, sex and Index of Multiple Deprivation decile.
Notes about these files:
Version 1 contains data that are based on Index of Multiple Deprivation 2010 on Lower layer Super Output Area 2011 boundaries for 2001 to 2010 and Index of Multiple Deprivation 2015 on Lower layer Super Output Area 2011 boundaries for 2011 onwards.
Version 2 contains data that are based on Index of Multiple Deprivation 2010 on Lower layer Super Output Area 2001 boundaries for 2001 to 2010 and Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD) 2015 on Lower layer Super Output Area 2011 boundaries for 2011 onwards.
Populations figures are not available based on Lower layer Super Output Area 2001 boundaries and therefore are only included in Version 1.
