Summary of request
Age residents visits by purpose (holidays only, excluding Cruise holidays and holiday/pleasure trips to play amateur sports) by detailed shorter duration types for 2014 to 2018, separated as tables for age-group, main mode of travel (i.e. sea, channel tunnel or air), whether they could separate costs of transport and accommodation or not (i.e independent versus non-independent travel) and major World region they visited (split as Europe (including within-EU visits), North America and Rest of World).
Note: Data given is for holiday visits excludes Cruise Holidays and Playing Amateur sports Holidays, hence totals will not match data published in Travel Trends for Holidays. Data also exclude all other purposes (RFVs).
