Please provide a list of how many babies were born in England on each day since 1 January 2010.

Birth statistics are produced using information recorded when live births are registered in England and Wales as part of civil registration, a legal requirement. These statistics represent births that took place during each calendar year (but also include a very small number of late registrations from the previous year).

We have published the number of live births by date from 1995 to 2016 for England and Wales (combined) as part of a previous customer enquiry, which can be found here:

This information is not currently available for England only. However special extracts and tabulations for England only are available to order (subject to legal frameworks, disclosure control, resources and agreement of costs where appropriate). Such enquiries should be made to:
