Summary of request
Ad Hoc tables for HM Treasury (HMT). These weighted tables are prices, capital expenditure and expected redundancies questions broken down by a combination of response options to questions that were not published in the weighted Business Insights and Conditions Survey (BICS) results.
The survey was sent to around 39,000 UK businesses, and results presented in this release are based on a limited number of responses; Wave 39 (23.1%, 8,845) and Wave 40 (22.8%, 8,723).
Estimates from the Business Insights and Conditions Survey (BICS) are weighted. A detailed description of the weighting methodology and its differences to unweighted results can be found in the Business Impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19) Survey: preliminary weighted results.
