Error in Supplementary Files CSV CD

Details

The contents list on the CSV format CD states that there was an error in the DATA file for UV06 for the East Midlands (GOR E) in the initial release of the Census Area Statistics for Output Areas. In fact, that file was correct, and the DATA file contained on the Supplementary files and corrections CD can be safely ignored.

The contents list on the CSV format CD also describes an error in CAST10 for "London (GOR D)". This should read "Yorkshire and the Humber (GOR D)". The correct file is supplied on the CD.

T34 (in Standard Tables for health areas)

Corresponding counts by NS-SeC of Household Reference Person (both Male and Female) are incorrect for Wales as a whole, England as a whole, and for England and Wales.

Comments

The error affects only the files in Standard Tables for health areas on the CSV version of the CD. Correct figures for the areas noted are provided on the CD in the National report folder. The SuperTABLE version of the CD is not affected by this error.

CAS037 Former industry by age (in CAS for Output Areas)

Details

The CSV data file for the South East (GOR J) is incorrectly structured and is inconsistent with other releases. The CSV description (DESC) file supplied on the CD relates to the standard table structure rather than the incorrect version.

Comments

The SuperTABLE version of the CD is not affected by this error. A correct version of the CSV data file is available on CD or as a zipped email attachment from Census Customer Services.
