The current membership of the National Crime Recording Strategic Steering Group (NCRSSG) as at May 2015 is as follows:

  • Chief Statistician, Home Office (David Blunt) – CHAIR

  • Lead for Crime Statistics, National Police Chiefs’ Council (CC Jeff Farrar)

  • Crime Statistics Programme Director, Home Office

  • National Crime Registrar, Home Office

  • Policy Lead for Crime Statistics, Home Office

  • Crime Statistics Programme Director, Office for National Statistics

  • Staff Officer for Crime Data Inspection, Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary

  • Crime Registrar (2 members), Police Forces

  • Chair of Crime Data Quality Assurance Working Group, Police Forces
