Under the Freedom of Information act, I am writing to you to request data regarding the following:
- Statistics of those in prison who are consuming drugs or alcohol over the past 10 years.
- Statistics of those who have been incarcerated due to drug or/and alcohol related offences (either directly or involving drugs or/and alcohol) over the past 10 years.
- The estimated numbers of homelessness in the UK and those who are deemed to have a drug and/or alcohol dependence problem over the past 10 years (if possible).
- The number of work hours lost per year due to drugs and/or alcohol over the past 10 years.
- The amount of money spent by the NHS on drug and alcohol related health problems/crisis over the past 10 years. (NHS England have also been contacted regarding this request).
