Regional statistics on crime and poverty

If possible I am seeking the most recent statistical data for the UK by county/region for the following:

1. Number of primary aged pupils (7-11) receiving free school meals by county of local authority/ county
2. Number of recorded crimes by county/local authority
3. Number of anti-social behaviour orders by county / local authority
4. Number of children living in poverty
5. Number of children living in workless households

1. We do not hold any information on the number of children claiming free school meals, for this, your request may be best placed with the Department for Education.

2. We publish figures on the levels and trends of crime in England and Wales, primarily based on two sets of crime statistics: the Crime Survey for England and Wales (CSEW) and police recorded crime data.

   Police recorded crime figures for England and Wales are collected by the Home Office and data for community safety partnerships (equivalent to local authorities) and police force areas are published by us. The most recent data for year ending March 2017 can be found in the Police Force Area tables and Community Safety Partnership tables which were released alongside the publication ‘Crime in England and Wales: year ending March 2017’. These tables provide police recorded crime figures broken down by specific geographies. The Police Force Area tables also include data for the regions of England and Wales. Community safety partnerships data can be aggregated to produce county level statistics. A list of community safety partnerships within counties can be found at the following address:

   For a more detailed offence breakdown, the Home Office publish open data tables at police force area and community safety partnership level. These tables can be accessed here.

3. We do not hold any information on anti-social behaviour orders (ASBOs). The most recent data available on ASBOs, published by the Home Office and Ministry of Justice, refer to the year 2013 and can be found here. ASBOs were replaced in 2014 by Criminal Behaviour Orders and Civil Injunctions. As these are issued by the courts, any statistics relating to them would be collected and held by the Ministry of Justice.
