I am trying to get hold of pension fraud statistics to try and ascertain whether there has been a rise in cases since the new pension rules came through. Presently I am aware that regionally these are not available.
I am making an FOI request for the following information:
The number of pension fraud cases in Nottingham for every month of the previous two tax years (starting from April 2013)
The number of pension fraud cases in Nottingham for every month of the current tax year (April, May, June and July)

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) publish fraud data collated by Action Fraud, which includes pension fraud, but we do not hold monthly data or data by local authority.
The most recent data released by ONS was published alongside the release Crime in England and Wales, Year Ending March 2015 and can be found in Appendix table A5.
