Summary of request
The experimental statistics in this release give insight into business dynamism at the local unit level. A local unit represents a geographically defined location where some of an enterprises activity is occurring. It is sometimes referred to as a site or establishment. Included are counts of local units under different transition statuses and information on job creation, destruction and reallocation rates.
These experimental statistics make up part of a presentation for the Economic Statistics Centre of Excellence (ESCoE) Conference on Economic Measurement 2023 and will be followed up with a full experimental data set in the future.
