Deaths occurring in a calendar year.
Neonatal – deaths of those aged under 28 days.
Infant – deaths of those aged under 1 year.
Rates – Stillbirths per 1,000 total births. Neonatal and infant deaths per 1,000 live births.
Stillbirth – a child which has issued forth from its mother after the 24th week of pregnancy, and which did not at any time after becoming completely expelled from its mother breathe or show other signs of life
