Local Profiles aim to help local authorities use official statistics to better understand the economic, social and environmental picture for their area. They have been developed using data that will be of use to analysts, economists and policy makers involved in preparing Local Economic Assessments.

This short summary article looks at estimates of subjective well-being for different ethnic groups by sex.

National Accounts Sector Classification describes the classification of organisations and institutions in the National Accounts, as well as information on flows and transactions through the accounts, informed by decisions of the National Accounts Classification Committee (NACC) Regular publications include the Sector Classification Guide (SCG) monthly updates detailing new or recent changes in classifications, as well as classification articles, explaining particular classification decisions.

Construction output is a monthly series of the output of the construction industry in both the private and public sectors. In the months before the quarter month, current and constant price not seasonally adjusted data by sector are published. On the quarter months, additional constant price seasonally adjusted index data and value data by sector are published. On the months after the quarter, additional current price data by type of work and region are published.

Estimates of the usually resident population as at 30 June of the reference year, revised in line with the 2011 Census. The release will include a report on changes made to the population estimates to take account of the Census results and how these changes have been allocated over the decade. Estimates reflect the administrative boundaries in place on 30 June 2011.

Contains indices on UK manufactured products together with the materials and fuel purchased, and the home sales at both broad and detailed industry levels. The data are used throughout business and government.

Total Public Sector Productivity

This bulletin shows the latest key labour market statistics for the regions and countries of Great Britain along with statistics for local authorities, travel-to-work areas and parliamentary constituencies.

This release was previously known as UK Output, Income and Expenditure. It contains estimates of the key components of GDP from the output, income and expenditure approaches.

The Services Producer Price Index (SPPI) are primarily a suite of individual price indices that provide information on price change for a limited range of service industries. Each SPPI captures quarterly changes in the price received for services provided by UK businesses to other UK businesses and Government. These individual price indices are also aggregated together to create a 'service industry' SPPI with limited coverage.

This report examines the differences between the mid-year short-term international immigration estimates produced by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) for local authorities in England and Wales and the estimates of short-term residents (STRs) from the 2011 Census. Comparisons are also made for regional and country level estimates.
